The successful candidate had to be from a nationwide distributor company currently located in Makassar or is willing to be relocated to Makassar. Not only does this person is responsible in handling General Trade Sales within the company, but this person needs to be excellent in field as well. An English speaking candidate is required for this role.

Client Details

Our client is a nationwide distributor company which currently have one of the largest distribution channels in Indonesia. They want people who came from distributors as big as they are and those who are willing to work hard. People who pays a lot of attention to details, work overtime and previously manages more than 100 people will make it to this recruitment process.


  • Establish sales target, communicate, monitoring and manage the sales performance for each channel and location to ensure the achievement of regional sales target
  • Develop sales forecast and periodically update the forecast to ensure the accuracy of the forecast
  • Develop sales planning based on the forecast and the latest market activity to ensure that the sales team can support the national sales target
  • Direct order management process to ensure customer order fulfillment
  • Direct the program to develop new and existing outlet in order to ensure the achievement of general trade sales target
  • Control the implementation of product price matrix by channel and location to identify and capture new margin opportunities
  • Control the implementation of customer service policies for managing company's interactions with customers and clients
  • Select, appoint, and manage Sales Partners/Official Distributors as business partner in given territories, and ensure they operate as per Company policy.
  • Manage the collection of all complaints from all external customers, the analysis of the data to see trends, patterns, concentrations, and tendencies to avoid customer turnover
  • Identify area for improvement, develop improvement program and monitor the implementation to increase process efficiency, cost effectiveness, or increase productivity.
  • Manage subordinates and develop capability through setting and reviewing subordinates' performance target, regular coaching and ensuring implementation of Individual Development Plan (IDP)
  • Manage the execution of credit policy, customer invoice administration, customer invoicing and credit collection to ensure optimum sales turn over
  • Prepare, monitor, control the annual department budget to ensure expenditure is in line with the Business Plan
  • Develop local MIC plan and support the development of National MIC plan to ensure that MIC sales can support the national sales target
  • Take responsibility for providing and managing a work environment that is safe and without risk to health by ensuring OHS policy, plans, procedures, induction, training and work instructions are followed. Ensure that hazard management including identification, assessment and control are undertaken


1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Management or relevant disciplines

2. Min 7 years working experience inFMCG Company and min3 years at position as General Manager level of operation or National Sales Manager.

3. Technical Competencies: Territory management, Sales planning & execution, Trade Marketing, Route to market, Distribution management

4. Came from a distributor company

5. Fluent and excellent in English, verbal and written

6. Candidates with integrity, ability to develop people, good charisma and able to make a good first impression
